His surgical interests include arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery, shoulder joint replacements, and innovative treatments for rotator cuff injuries, irreparable tears, and biological approaches to upper limb injuries, including biological graft augmentation of rotator cuff repair.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Rhee is an Honorary Lecturer at the Institute of Sports Exercise and Health at University College London and has worked as a team doctor for London Saracens Rugby since 2008. He collaborates closely with the Lilleshall International Sports Centre and treats elite athletes from the English Ice Hockey Association and PGA European Golf Tour.
Passionate about research and education, Mr. Rhee has contributed to several orthopaedic textbooks, published widely in his field, and is a reviewer for international journals such as the Bone & Joint Journal. He regularly lectures MSc students at UCL and is a key faculty member for national courses accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons. Mr. Rhee also co-organises the London Shoulder Meeting, the largest independent shoulder and elbow conference in the UK.
