About Mr Constantinos Kyriakides
Mr Constantinos Kyriakides is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust where he treats all aspects of vascular disease. His special interest is in minimally invasive vascular surgery and exploring the role of new technologies and techniques in arterial and venous disease management. He sees private patients at: • The London Clinic, • The Private Clinic in Harley Street • HCA Hospitals in Central London Mr Kyriakides has performed more than 5,000 vein procedures, including Endo Venous Laser Ablation (EVLA), which is proven to be the most successful minimally invasive laser treatment for varicose vein removal. He has also pioneered the use of EVLA as a treatment for veins on the hands and is one of the few surgeons in Europe trained in this novel technique. Mr Kyriakides also specialises in varicose vein procedures of the scrotum and of the vulva and vagina to treat pelvic congestion. Mr Kyriakides gained his medical qualification in the UK, before going on to undertake postgraduate training in both the UK and USA. He belongs to The Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, The European Society for Vascular Surgery, and The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
