Dr. Ben Brooke
Orthopaedic Surgery
About
He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2002 and completed his surgical training in the North East of England before returning to Yorkshire for higher specialist orthopaedic training. He was placed on the specialist register in 2013 and subsequently undertook a prestigious national fellowship in hip and knee surgery, with particular expertise in complex and revision hip procedures.
Mr Brooke was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in 2014, where he manages a high volume of patients with degenerative joint conditions and sports injuries. His clinical interests include hip and knee replacements, meniscal repair, and the treatment of soft tissue knee injuries.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Brooke is actively involved in teaching and training. He serves as a faculty member for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and regularly contributes to international conferences, supporting the development of future orthopaedic surgeons.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
