Mr Anil Agarwal
About
Mr Agarwal undertook further advanced training in Plastic and Hand surgery across several specialist units in the UK, including posts at Withington Manchester, Chelmsford and East Grinstead (West Sussex). He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and completed the FRCS (Glasgow), FRCS (Plast), and British and European Diplomas in Hand Surgery.
Mr Agarwal has been an NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon since 2008 and is currently a substantive Consultant at Royal Preston Hospital. His clinical practice focuses primarily on hand surgery below the wrist, particularly conditions affecting the fingers, while maintaining a broader practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Mr Agarwal’s consultations involve detailed assessment and discussion, with clear explanation of available surgical options and expected outcomes. Visual aids, including sketches and clinical photographs, are used to support shared understanding and surgical planning.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
