I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon at york Hospital. I am The Head of the ENT Department, and Lead Clinician for Head and Neck Cancer in York. I practice general ENT, but have a particular interest in head and neck cancer, salivary gland diseases, and thyroid problems. I have a strong background in research, having previously been Chair of York Research Ethics Committee, and Lead Clinician for Research and Development at York Hospital. I have nearly 100 publications, and written various chapters in textbooks. My most recent chapter is 'How to evaluate the thyroid patient'.
