About Mr Amit Sinha
Mr Amit Sinha qualified in 1989 from the Patna University and in 1993 he completed his training as a surgeon in India. He came to UK in 1996 and obtained his GMC Specialist Registration in Surgery in 2006. He has extensive experience with laparoscopic general surgery particularly laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic hernia surgery. After his Specialist Registrationin General Surgery, Mr Amit worked as a fellow at the Department of Colorectal Surgery at the Singapore General Hospital with Professor Eu Kong Weng where he received hands on training in laparoscopic colorectal surgery for both benign as well as malignant colorectal disease in addition to anal canal conditions. He has particular interest in the management of Anal Canal Conditions - Haemorrhoids, Anal Canal Fissures and Anal Canal Fistulas. Additionally, he has JAG (Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) accreditation for independent specialist practice in the modalities of gastro-duodenoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy.
