Mr Adrian Butler-Manuel is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specialising in knee replacement surgery, arthroscopic and ligament reconstruction surgery.

After completing his medical training at St Thomas's Hospital in 1981, Mr Butler-Manuel attained a place on the Guy's and St Thomas' Registrar Training Scheme. Following this, he was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in lower limb surgery at the Conquest Hospital in 1993. Mr Butler-Manuel was the Clinical Lead for Audit for six years developing a coding system for all orthopaedic surgery in addition to being the Orthopaedic Clinical Lead at the Conquest Hospital. He is also a member of the Oxford partial knee replacement and the AGC total knee system user group faculties.

Mr Butler-Manuel has extensive experience in the field, according to the latest NJR data, he has performed approximately 600 primary total knee replacements, 200 partial knee replacements and over 100 revision knee replacements in the last 3 years. He is actively involved in Clinical Research and frequently presents at national and international Knee Conferences.

Outside of work, Mr Butler-Manuel enjoys spending time with his wife and children and enjoys sporting activities especially tennis, golf and cycling.
