About

Mr Adam Brooks is a Consultant General Surgeon at Queen's Medical Centre specialising in hepatobiliary surgery, covering surgical management of gallbladder, liver and pancreas disease and advanced laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hernia repair. He is also the Clinical Director for the Major Trauma Centre at Nottingham University Hospital.

Adam has served in the UK reserve forces since 1998 and was deployed widely as a Consultant Trauma Surgeon with the UK military in active combat zones.

As the Director of Major Trauma at Nottingham University Hospitals, Adam was responsible for the regionalisation of Major Trauma Services across the East Midlands and the development of Queen's Medical Centre into the East Midlands regional Major Trauma Centre.
