Mr Hasan Qazi completed his basic surgical training in Liverpool and achieved his Doctorate in Urinary Bladder Cancer at the Academic Department at the University of Leicester, having been awarded a number of prestigious research grants. He was the first British trainee to be invited for a 12-month Fellowship in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at University Hospital Leipzig, a world-leading centre, under the supervision of Professor Jens-Uwe Stolzenburg, a pioneer in keyhole surgery.

He was appointed Consultant Urologist in Glasgow in 2013 where he set up Laparoscopic Pelvic Cancer surgery and went on to establish the Robotic Prostatectomy Program for the West of Scotland. He trained a team of doctors, nurses and physiotherapists for a large regional service, prior to moving to St George's University Hospital, London, in 2017.

Hasan is actively involved in teaching and training at a number of international courses and is the Course Director for the ‘innovations in laparoscopy' course in Hamburg having trained over 250 experienced Urologists from across Europe.

He has a large number of papers in leading journals and presented widely at a large number of international conferences. In addition, he has co-authored 2 DVD's regarding laparoscopic and Robotic surgical techniques.

Hasan has a subspecialist interest in Urinary symptoms in men and women, in particular, in Prostate Cancer and is a high volume surgeon, with results that are among the best in the UK. Having trained at the centre that pioneered nerve-sparing prostatectomy, he has an interest in preserving potency in men with prostate cancer and to obtain excellent functional outcomes from Robotic Prostatectomy.
