About Dr Mona Barzin
Mona Barzin is a General Practitioner and the founder of The Hill Practice, Notting Hill’s first Lifestyle Medicine clinic. She graduated from King’s College London in 2012, where her interest in women’s health began with a BSc in Maternal and Fetal Health. She initially trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in West London and at Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town, before deciding to retrain as a GP in order to provide more holistic, whole-person care. She completed her GP training through the St Mary’s Hospital scheme in 2019. Since qualifying, Dr Barzin has worked as both an NHS and private GP across practices in Notting Hill and Kensington & Chelsea, gaining broad experience in managing acute presentations as well as long-term and complex conditions. Her clinical interests include lifestyle medicine, disease prevention, women’s health, menopause care, and supporting patients to improve—or in some cases reverse—chronic illness through sustainable lifestyle change. Dr Barzin is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach and her belief in the importance of continuity of care. She takes time to understand each person’s individual circumstances and priorities, enabling her to develop personalised health plans that are practical, empowering, and focused on long-term wellbeing.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
