About
Miriam has over 15 years of experience in physiotherapy in both the NHS and private healthcare sector. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham in 2007 with First-Class Honours. After qualifying, she began working in Plymouth and Bristol before moving back to the West Midlands. She also holds an Affiliate Membership with the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy Society.
Miriam has extensive expertise in the assessment and treatment of women with a broad range of gynaecological conditions at different stages in life. She has special interests in pelvic health conditions such as incontinence (bladder and bowel), pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic girdle pain, chronic pelvic pain and diastasis rectus. In her current position at MUMS, Miriam offers a 'Mummy MOT', a specialised postnatal assessment for women after both vaginal and caesarean births.
