He later completed his PhD on the “Molecular and Biological Profile of Non-union Tissue.” Following his PhD, he became an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the University of Leeds in 2019, where he continued both laboratory and clinical research. His academic focus is on bone healing, trauma sequelae, and hip reconstruction and replacement. He has presented his research at international conferences and has over 60 publications in esteemed journals.
