Durch seine akademisch-chirurgische Ausbildung an der Universitätsklinik stehen Dozent Paireder die neuesten Erkenntnisse und Praktiken der Medizin zur Verfügung. Neben höchsten Qualitätsstandards, liegt Dr. Paireder die individuelle Betreuung am Herzen, dafür nimmt er sich in den Räumlichkeiten seiner Ordination ausführlich Zeit. Jeder Schritt von Behandlungen und Operationen wird zusammen mit dem Patienten besprochen und geplant.

2006 schloss Dr. Paireder das Studium der Humanmedizin an der Medizinischen Universität Wien ab, bevor er als Transplantkoordinator für Herz- und Lungentransplantation tätig wurde. 2013 legte er die Facharztprüfung für Allgemein- und Viszeralchirurgie und erhielt im Folgejahr die Fellowship für chirurgische Onkologie der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Onkologische Chirurgie (ACO-ASSO). Seit 2016 ist Dr. Paireder zudem Facharzt für Allgemeinchirurige und arbeit seit 2019 als Oberarzt. Im Jahr 2021 schloss er das Zertifikatsprogramm "Medizinische Lehre Wien" (MLW) der MedUni Wien und habilitierte zum Privatdozent im Fach "Chirurgie". Er hat darüber hinaus auch ein MBA Studium an der WU absolviert und ist seit 2024 Primarius und Abteilungvorstand der Chirurgie im Göttlicher Heiland Krankenhaus Wien.

Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Arzt, wirkt Matthias Paireder an verschiedenen Forschungsprojekten mit und ist Autor von über 50 wissenschaftlichen Artikeln.
