About
Mr Royal graduated from the University College Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports Therapy in 2013. He has worked at REACTIV8 Sports Therapy since July 2017, providing effective evidence-based healthcare services for injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
In addition, Mr Royal has previously worked as a Sports Therapist for Aston Villa Football Club from January 2019 to December 2021, as a Foundation Sports Therapist for Christchurch Group Neurological Rehabilitation from November 2014 to April 2019, as well as a Lead Sports Therapist for Nuneaton Borough FC and Rushall Olympic Football Club.
Mr Royal has provided rehabilitation strategies for clients to ensure optimal function, assessed and treated injuries, created structured rehabilitation and injury prevention programmes, and worked pitch-side on match days attending to any immediate first aid requirements, pre/post-match soft tissue therapy, and strapping/taping. He is dedicated to his patients' health and wellbeing and has a passion for helping athletes recover from injuries and improve their performance.
