Dr Thomas completed his medical degree and initial postgraduate training in London, followed by advanced nephrology training in Leicester, where he earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) focusing on proteinuric renal disease. He further honed his expertise during a prestigious Renal Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, USA.
Currently practising at Spire Parkway Hospital, Dr Thomas is known for his patient-centred approach. He ensures patients receive modern, evidence-based care, including comprehensive discussions about their condition, required tests, and tailored treatment plans.
An accredited Clinical Hypertension Specialist with the European Society of Hypertension, Dr Thomas has also chaired NICE guideline development groups since 2011. As a committed educator and frequent lecturer, he remains at the forefront of advancements in internal medicine and nephrology, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest medical insights.
