About Mr Marc Sayers
Marc Sayers is an Australian physiotherapist with a diverse background, having worked in the private sector, with elite sports teams, and in academia. His experience also extends overseas, where he gained valuable insights while working with paediatric populations. Marc's passion for sports began at a young age, as he represented his country as a junior baseball player and participated in Australian rules football, tennis, and long-distance running. His personal experiences with injuries fuelled his interest in injury diagnosis, prevention, and rehabilitation. Marc specialises in treating both sporting and non-sporting conditions affecting the hip, knee, ankle, and shoulder. He is committed to providing accurate diagnoses and delivering effective education and treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Marc often incorporates strength and conditioning principles alongside manual therapy techniques to ensure his patients remain fit and healthy. With a keen interest in osteoarthritis, hip and knee conditions, tendinopathies, ACL rehabilitation, and both pre and post-operative rehabilitation, Marc's expertise also includes shoulder instability and ankle injuries. His professional experience includes working as a Senior Physiotherapist at Mill Park Physiotherapy in Melbourne, Head Physiotherapist at Calder Cannons Football Club (AFL Talent League), and Physiotherapist at Western Bulldogs Football Club (AFL Women’s).
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
