Lina Doumani is a Clinical Nutritionist and Dietician at Allied Medical Center.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and completed a Master's degree at King's College London in the UK. Lina moved to the USA to train at New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA with some experience at the Diabetic Center. She also moved to the UK and trained in Food Service Management and Production of Clinical Diets at St Mary's Hospital.
Prior to her current role, Lina worked in Clinical Dietician and Nutritionist positions in Dubai including the General Medical Centre. In these positions she gained several years of experience in consulting patients on their diet, lifestyle and conditions and developed effective and personalised treatment programs for them. Lina has also worked as an Instructor in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at the American University of Beirut.
She is passionate about educating the wider public and community and has worked through schools to raise awareness of healthy eating to the children and their teachers.
In her current position, Lina provides individualised and personalised therapy to all her patients. She has special interest in anorexia nervosa.
Lina strives to help her patients achieve their personal goals of good eating habits and better health and treats each patient according to their lifestyle and needs. Support is provided at every stage of the process.
