Dr Kuven Moodley has been a substantive NHS consultant at St George's Hospital since June 2016, and also served as the Trust’s clinical lead for Delirium and medical lead for Informed Consent. He sees patients privately at Nuffield Parkside, OneWelbeck and Spire St Anthony's Hospital.
Dr Moodley has specialist expertise in general neurology, acute neurology, headache, CSF disorders (including normal pressure hydrocephalus and intracranial hypotension), and cognitive disorders. The latter includes mild cognitive impairment (MCI), dementia, and cognitive syndromes arising from acquired brain injury.
Dr Moodley is also proficient in a broader range of neurological subspecialties, including peripheral nerve and muscle disease, movement disorders, neuro-inflammatory disorders and stroke. Dr Moodley is widely published in his domains of expertise.
In addition to clinical work, he is involved in postgraduate clinical training. He has contributed to several large-scale Quality Improvement Initiatives, including formulating commissioning guidelines for Acute Neurology and revising Clinical Pathways for Informed Consent, Delirium Care, and Acute Agitation Management.
