He has published numerous articles and has been the Principal Investigator in research studies in the UK. Dr. Kowshik is an Honorary Lecturer at Bristol University and has served as a College Tutor at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Dr. Kowshik specialises in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of paediatric endocrine disorders, including Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal disorders, short stature and growth hormone disorders, delayed and precocious puberty, and obesity. He is an active member of various international paediatric endocrine societies, including the European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology, the British Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, the Arab Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, and the International Endocrine Society.
