About Dr Kaye Bowers
Dr Kaye Bowers is a Specialist Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon. They undertook training at The Alfred Hospital, obtaining their General Surgical Fellowship. This was followed by time with the Liver Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgical Unit at the Austin Hospital. Dr Bowers then went on to complete further training in advanced Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at The Royal London Hospital in the United Kingdom. Dr Bowers is a member of the International HepatoPancreatoBiliary Association and is on the Executive Board of the Australia and New Zealand HepatoPancreatoBiliary Association of Surgeons.
Dr Bowers holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and has a special interest in Healthcare Management with a focus on quality assurance and sustainability in healthcare. They are a Monash University Department of Surgery Adjunct Senior Lecturer and the Cabrini Hospital Representative on the Monash University MBBS Surgery Discipline Reference Group. Dr Bowers is also an affiliate member of the Institute of Managers and Leaders.
