About
Kate obtained her medical degree from the University of Leeds in 2003, followed by comprehensive training in general and breast surgical procedures in the North West. She further refined her skills in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery through a national training interface group fellowship. During her MD degree, she received a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, England Research Fellowship.
Since 2016, Kate has been providing chest contouring surgery at North Manchester General Hospital. She approaches each case collaboratively, working closely with her patients to understand their desired outcomes and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Beyond her clinical practice, Kate is a passionate advocate for trans rights, contributing to publications and providing training to healthcare professionals to improve the quality of care received by trans individuals. She holds memberships in several professional associations, including the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, the British Association of Gender Identity Specialists, the Association of Breast Surgery, and the Royal College of Surgeons England.
