About Dr Karen Paice
Dr. Karen Paice is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in Melbourne. She graduated with honours from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her specialist training at the Royal Women's and the Mercy Hospitals in Melbourne and obtained a further postgraduate qualification the Masters of Reproductive Medicine, giving her a broad foundation in her training. Dr. Paice offers continued specialist care during pregnancy and birth. Her attention to detail ensures a very high level of care, combined with her warm and caring nature. She allows patients to feel comfortable and safe in her care, no matter what they are going through. She actively listens and spends a generous amount of time with patients at every consultation. Dr. Paice supports many women and couples with a wide range of fertility related issues. She has a particular interest in treating women with ovulation disorders including polycystic ovarian syndrome, as well as caring for women with high-risk pregnancies. She is herself a mother of two children, giving her the lived understanding of the pregnancy and post-partum experience. Dr. Paice sees patients at Melbourne IVF and also works as a consultant with the Reproductive Endocrinology Unit at The Royal Women's Hospital and a Consultant Obstetrician at the Mercy Hospital for Women.
