Mr
Mr Karanjit Singh Mangat
Orthopaedic Surgery
About
He graduated in Medicine from the University of Birmingham and developed an early interest in orthopaedics through completing a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy at University College London. His higher surgical training was undertaken on the highly regarded Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Programme, after which he completed advanced upper limb fellowships at two leading UK centres: the Pulvertaft Centre and the Liverpool Upper Limb Unit.
Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Mangat is deeply committed to medical education, regularly delivers formal teaching in upper limb surgery to orthopaedic trainees from across the UK, contributing to the development of future surgeons.
Known for his clear communication and patient-centred approach, Mr Mangat takes time to understand each patient’s concerns and goals and engages with advances in upper limb surgery. Outside medicine, he enjoys staying active through sport and is a dedicated supporter of Coventry City Football Club.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
