Mr Julian Livingstone is a Podiatrist. They are a QIPP advisor for the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE). They are also an examiner for the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Mr Livingstone is an AHP advisor for the Department of Health.
Mr Livingstone can treat, investigate and provide advice on all problems that can affect the foot and ankle. They have a specialist interest in the developing foot of children but provide care effectively from birth to old age.
Mr Livingstone was appointed to a consultant position within the orthopaedic team at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals and The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Livingstone is an elected board member of the Faculty of Podiatric medicine, the body responsible for postgraduate podiatric education. They are also on the committees of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrist, responsible for policy and dealing with Private Medical Insurers and promoting Podiatry to government and other professional bodies. They have lectured at National and International Conferences. They lecture at Master's level university courses and are involved in the training of Orthopaedic Surgeons, GPs and Physiotherapists, as well as Podiatrists.
