Additionally, she offers mental health birth planning services, particularly for those with pre-existing mental health conditions or previous birth trauma.
Since 2018, Dr. Spoors has served as the Clinical Lead of the Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust Perinatal Service. She holds the position of Lead Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist with the Hampshire, Portsmouth, Isle of Wight, and Farnham Community Perinatal Mental Health Team. She is also actively involved with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Maternal Mental Health Service, specialising in birth trauma support.
In addition to her clinical roles, she is trained as a Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) practitioner and an Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist.
