About Dr Jesus Olmo
Dr. Jesús Olmo is a specialist in non-surgical treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as an expert in functional assessment of the locomotor system. Currently, in addition to being the Medical Director at Isokinetic Clinic London, he is the co-founder of the Football Science Institute, an international educative online platform for football teams’ professional staff and for research in football science, and a private specialist consultant in Granada, Spain. Formerly, he was Head of Medical and Performance at Real Madrid CF on four seasons 2013-2017. Dr Olmo not only treats sports injuries and elite athletes, but also orthopedic, trauma and degenerative problems in patients of any age that want to stay active and free of pain. Dr Olmo believes that muscle, tendon, joint, and spine injuries are best treated by a combination of specific and individual biomechanics training programs and biological therapies when appropriate. Dr Olmo is an expert in biomechanics, exercise and regenerative therapies including blood-derived injections and mesenchymal stem cells. Dr. Olmo regularly publishes scientific papers in biomechanics, rehabilitation and sports medicine journals, and is frequently invited to give presentations at national and international conferences. He lives in London and dedicates a large part of his free time to his family, sports, and much-enjoyed meetings with his old rugby teammates.
