Dr Jameel Miro is a highly qualified Consultant General, Visceral, and Surgical Oncologist. He specialises in advanced surgical interventions, with a particular focus on robotic and laparoscopic procedures for complex medical conditions. His approach integrates cutting-edge surgical techniques with a patient-centred philosophy to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
Dr Miro obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Umm Al Qura University. He subsequently pursued higher specialist training in Germany, where he acquired the German Board in General and Visceral Surgery. He further advanced his expertise by completing a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the University Hospital Hamburg. In addition to his clinical credentials, he serves as an Assistant Professor, contributing to the academic advancement of the surgical field.
His clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of services, including the management of gastrointestinal and colorectal malignancies. Dr Miro is a recognised expert in robotic surgery and has served as a proctor in robotic oncology for the European Society of Surgical Oncology.
