During her time at King's College Hospital, Dr. Bamfo pursued a 3-year research fellowship at the Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine under the guidance of Professor Kypros Nicolaides, a world-renowned expert in the field. She successfully obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree from the University of London. Dr. Bamfo further specialised in Maternal Fetal Medicine through sub-specialty training at Central Manchester University Hospital. She holds the Fetal Medicine Foundation certificates of competency in nuchal translucency measurement and cervical length measurement. With a passion for research and academic contributions, Dr. Bamfo has published in peer-reviewed journals and served as the Trainee Editor at the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 8 years. She has also been involved in reviewing articles for the Journal of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG). Currently, Dr. Bamfo actively participates in research studies and organises ultrasound-based courses at her hospital. Dr. Bamfo’s dedication to providing exceptional care and expertise in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine makes her a highly respected and trusted practitioner in her field.
