Ian Evans
Physiotherapy
About
He initially worked as a teacher and coach in disability sports at a specialised sports college. During this time, he developed a passion for helping people reach their goals and wanted to learn more about how the human body works. To better understand the body and help others, he decided to study Sports & Remedial Massage at the London School of Sports Massage and completed his training in 2010.
Ian has gained a lot of experience in sports massage by working with elite sports teams like Sussex County Cricket Club, Millwall Football Club, and now Crystal Palace Football Club in the Premier League. In these professional settings, he has collaborated with various health experts like physiotherapists and sports doctors.
One of Ian's key strengths is his ability to provide personalised care. He tailors his approach to each client's unique needs. His exposure to different healthcare environments has helped him adapt and improve his techniques to promote healing and enhance performance.
In addition to his role as a massage therapist, Ian is able to perform a series of advanced techniques like myofascial cupping, Sports & Kinesio-tape applications, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage, Dry Needling, and Muscle Energy Technique.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
