Dr. Hayat Adib is an experienced otolaryngologist or ENT surgeon. She is specialises in paediatric otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. She obtained her medical degree in Lebanon before completing a fellowship in paediatric otolaryngology at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas, USA. She later opened her own private practice in Tripoli Lebanon for a year and a half where she established the pediatric ENT division in multiple hospitals in the North of Lebanon and was the only paediatric otolaryngologist in the region.
Her expertise and interests include medical and surgical treatment of general paediatric ENT disorders including tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy and frenulectomy (tongue-tie), chronic ear diseases, airway procedures such as laryngotracheal reconstruction plus sinus surgery and velopharyngeal insufficiency.
She has participated in several national and regional meetings, and she has published multiple articles pertinent to her field.
