Dr Hanna Kuchel, a dermatologist with more than ten years of clinical experience, is based at the Skin and Cancer Foundation in Darlinghurst and the ENT Clinic in Randwick. She is committed to her patients and always strives to provide the highest standard of care. In addition to general dermatology clinics, Dr Kuchel runs clinics for hyperhidrosis, cosmetic dermatology, psoriasis, and eczema. She is also the primary investigator for a clinical trial looking into the efficacy of a novel biological psoriasis treatment. Dr Kuchel is certified in the use of Botox for the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis and is also skilled in using minimally invasive techniques to achieve cosmetic rejuvenation for her patients.
Dr Kuchel is actively involved in registrar teaching and is the current training supervisor at the Skin and Cancer Foundation. She also serves on the research and education committees at the Skin Hospital and has previously been the NSW Faculty Honorary Secretary. Dr Kuchel earned an honours degree in medicine in 1996 from The University of Sydney before going on to complete a PhD at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 'Mechanisms of Ultraviolet Radiation-Induced Immunosuppression in Humans.' Following this, she undertook clinical training in dermatology at Westmead Adult and Children's Hospitals, St Vincent's Hospital, and the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, England. Dr Kuchel has since presented a number of research papers at both national and international conferences.
