Dr. Graeme Rich is a well experienced Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, currently serving as the Staff Specialist and Head of Department at Sydney Adventist Hospital. He completed his medical (MBBS) and BMedSc degree at the University of Queensland in 2008, followed by his specialist training in gastroenterology and hepatology. He later became certified in gastrointestinal endoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE). He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2015 and is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA).

His proficiency is certified CCRTGE, and his practice includes a broad range of procedures in gastroenterology. Dr Rich's clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gastrointestinal motility, therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, colorectal cancer screening, bariatric endoscopy, liver disease, and the management of reflux and abdominal pain.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Rich is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and holds appointments at Sydney Adventist Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. Here, he leads a pioneering trial focused on minimally invasive endoscopic weight loss. He is also involved in teaching and research at the University of Sydney, University of Queensland, and Bond University.

Dr Rich is also the founder and CEO of Healthcare Collective Australia, a technology-driven initiative aimed at enhancing patient access to high-quality, affordable specialist care across various specialties. His work in this area underscores his commitment to health technology and his dedication to improving medical efficiency and addressing health inequality.
