I am a qualified Gestalt Psychotherapist with a Higher Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Gestalt Institute of Ireland. As an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), I adhere to its Code of Ethics and am committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic work, supported by regular supervision with a qualified external supervisor.
I bring over 15 years of experience working in educational and multicultural settings and hold an MA in Ethnolinguistics. My passion for psychotherapy developed through a deep interest in working relationally and connecting with each person's unique experience and field conditions. I value deep listening, presence, and supporting clients in enhancing their self-awareness to reach their potential and improve their relationships.
In my work, I focus on the interconnection between thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. As a Gestalt Therapist, my approach is dialogical and relational, encouraging clients to explore new possibilities and discover new ways of being. This process fosters self-awareness and personal growth, which can take time but may lead to meaningful healing and change.
I support individuals facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, fertility issues, isolation, stress, trauma, and work-related concerns. I also work with those seeking personal development, improved self-esteem, clarity around sexuality, better work-life balance, and more fulfilling relationships. I believe that healing and growth are always possible in the present moment, no matter the past.
