About Prof George Murrell
Professor Murrell is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises is the diagnosis and management of disorders of the shoulder, often with keyhole surgery. He trained in Adelaide, Oxford - as a Rhodes Scholar, Cambridge, Duke University and the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. He is an international expert on the diagnosis of disorders of the shoulder by clinical examination and imaging, particularly ultrasound, has developed and published extensively minimally invasive methods to repair torn rotator cuff tendons, restore motion to frozen shoulders, stabilise dislocating shoulders and to replace arthritic shoulders.
