About
Dr Summons completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2007 followed by her specialist paediatric training at the Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital. During her training she gained broad expertise in a vast range of paediatric disciplines. She also has experience working in many different healthcare settings, including: inpatient, emergency, community and rural practices. She enjoys providing healthcare for children of all ages, from neonates to adolescents, with both acute or chronic conditions.
Dr Summons is currently pursuing a PhD in Neonatal Immunology and is dedicated to providing patient-focused and evidence-based care. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education and is actively involved in teaching both trainee doctors and medical students.
