Darüber hinaus ist er im Bereich der Sportorthopädie und Rheumaorthopädie tätig.Dr. Sevelda war über 15 Jahre an der Universitätsklinik für Orthopädie in Wien tätig. Nach Abschluss seiner Facharztausbildung arbeitete er dort über sieben Jahre als Oberarzt und wurde im Jahr 2018 zum leitenden Oberarzt ernannt. In dieser Funktion war er insbesondere in der operativen Therapie des Hüft- und Kniegelenks tätig.Weitere berufliche Stationen umfassen eine Tätigkeit als Funktionsoberarzt an einer Spezialklinik für Endoprothetik in Markgröningen sowie eine Position als Oberarzt im Evangelischen Krankenhaus Wien.Dr. Sevelda habilitierte sich an der Medizinischen Universität Wien und beschäftigte sich im Rahmen seiner wissenschaftlichen Arbeit mit dem Thema „Überlebensanalysen von künstlichen Gelenkersätzen“.
