Dr Kilburn-Toppin is a Consultant Radiologist. They graduated from Cambridge University in 2006. Dr Kilburn-Toppin is a Fellow, Medical Lecturer and Director of Studies in both Anatomy and Clinical Medicine at St. John's College, University of Cambridge. They are the Subspecialty Training lead for breast imaging for the East of England Imaging Academy Health Education England.
Dr Kilburn-Toppin is the Director of Breast Screening. They are also on the Executive Board and Educational committee for the European Society for Breast imaging. In addition, Dr Kilburn-Toppin is an examiner for the European Diploma in Breast Imaging.
Dr Kilburn-Toppin is the Chair for the E-Learning editorial board for the European Congress of Radiology. They are also an editor for Acta Radiologica. Dr Kilburn-Toppin has written numerous book chapters on breast imaging and published on a variety of breast imaging topics.
Dr Kilburn-Toppin's research interests are on various aspects of breast imaging. They have published on a range of breast imaging topics and written multiple book chapters on breast imaging. Dr Kilburn-Toppin is on the Editorial Board for Acta Radiologica and has advised on national and international guidelines for breast imaging, including the ECR Referral Guidelines Subcommittee. Dr Kilburn-Toppin was the Visiting Professor for the Royal College of Radiology and British Society of Breast Radiology in 2023.
