Dr Martins’ training, in addition to her clinical experience working for CDAT, has afforded her expertise in diagnosing, managing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, particularly (but not limited to) depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar affective disorder, OCD, PTSD and ADHD. Her work in the NHS also enabled her to gain experience in the field of neurostimulation, working alongside the TMS clinic.
Her passion for a holistic approach in mental health inspired her to complete postgraduate training in Systemic Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as courses on Mindful Self-compassion and Motivational Interviewing.
Dr Martins believes in an evidence-based, psychologically-informed and empathetic approach to mental health treatment, tending to individuals rather than diagnoses.
