Dr Feruza Gafarova is a general practitioner with more than 10 years' medical experience. She has a special interest in endocrinology, integrative and anti-ageing medicine.
Ms Gafarova has been practising in Dubai since 2015 and currently consults at Cosmesurge clinics within the anti-ageing and IV infusions department. She carries out a range of diagnostics including DNA tests, DUTCH adrenal tests and NutrEval tests for vitamins and minerals. Ms Gafarova favours natural, non-invasive medical treatments where possible and may include plant-based medicine, therapeutic diets and stress-management techniques as part of a patient's care plan.
First qualifying in 2006 with an MD, Ms Gafarova went on to achieve her master's degree in Endocrinology before completing a postgraduate diploma in diabetes from the University of Wales, UK. She became a specialist endocrinologist at Nodira-Mirazim Tibbiyot LLC, a private medical clinic in Uzbekistan, where she worked for four years. Following her relocation to Dubai, Ms Gafarova then became a general practitioner at RAK Diabetes Center as well as the Medcare Women and Children Hospital, Dubai.
Ms Gafarova is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the Emirates Diabetes Society (EDS).
