Dr Fahad Ibnshamsah is a highly respected Consultant Medical Oncologist and Internal Medicine Specialist. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients facing complex oncological diagnoses. With a strong commitment to advancing cancer treatment, he combines evidence-based medicine with a reassuring approach, ensuring that each patient receives a personalised treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. Throughout his career, Dr Ibnshamsah has developed a profound expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide array of malignancies. His clinical focus encompasses gastrointestinal cancers, including colon and liver cancer, as well as breast, lung, prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers. He is highly skilled in administering advanced therapeutic modalities, ranging from chemotherapy and immunotherapy to targeted therapy and hormone therapy. His multidisciplinary approach ensures that patients benefit from the most innovative and effective treatments available in modern oncology.
Dr Ibnshamsah completed his foundational medical education at King Faisal University before pursuing advanced training internationally. He completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology in 2013, followed by a specialised fellowship in Breast and Gastrointestinal Oncology in 2014, both at the University of Calgary in Canada. Furthermore, he holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the United States. He is an active leader in the medical community and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Society of Gastrointestinal Oncology, reflecting his dedication to improving oncological care standards.
