She is also the Coordinator of the Medical Genetics Sector of Prenatal Diagnosis at the Bissaya Barreto Maternity Hospital. In addition, Dr. Ramos has been an integral member of the Reference Center for Metabolic Diseases at the Coimbra University Hospital Center since 2016, contributing to advancements in diagnosing and managing metabolic disorders.
Dr. Ramos is committed to education and mentorship. She has been a Teaching Assistant for the Medical Genetics discipline at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra and has provided training guidance in medical genetics since 2010. Her academic roles have included serving as a Guest Lecturer in Medical Genetics from 2010 to 2015 at the same institution.
