Psychotherapy
About
Emma believes that the simple act of sharing personal experiences within a safe and confidential therapeutic environment can be a powerful step toward growth, clarity and emotional recovery. She offers open-ended therapy and works with a wide range of concerns, aiming to support individuals as they develop greater resilience and a stronger, more balanced approach to life.
Her core training is in Person-Centred counselling, which places the client’s experience at the heart of the therapeutic process. In addition, she draws on a range of complementary approaches including Gestalt therapy, mindfulness-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and nature-based or walking therapy. This integrative approach allows her to tailor therapy to each individual while remaining focused on present-moment awareness and meaningful personal change.
Alongside her clinical practice, Emma is currently studying for a PhD in Psychology. Her academic research deepens her understanding of human behaviour, relational dynamics and the therapeutic process, and this ongoing work informs and enriches her clinical practice.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
