About Dr Emily Tam
Dr Emily Tam is a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in cross-sectional radiology with gastrointestinal and oncology focus. She specialises in CT colonography and other body CTs, small bowel, rectal, anal fistula and pelvic floor MRI, liver MR and MRCP, and general USS with abdominal interest. She has been working as a Consultant Radiologist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust since October 2014, previously at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as CT lead and colorectal lead from April 2014 to September 2014. Before joining Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Tam worked as a Consultant Radiologist at Medway Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where she was the colorectal lead and CT lead from February 2010 to March 2014. She completed her Radiology SpR training at Northwick Park and St Mark's Hospitals from September 2004 to November 2009. Dr Tam also worked as an Oncology Imaging Fellow at Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, Mount Vernon Hospital in 2008-2009. Dr Tam obtained her BM degree from the University of Southampton and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR). She has a wealth of experience in cross-sectional radiology, particularly in gastrointestinal and oncology imaging.
