About Dr Waldemar Van Aswegen
Dr. Waldemar Van Aswegen is a highly experienced Dental Surgeon with a special interest in Aesthetic Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Dr. Van Aswegen was born in South Africa and graduated from Stellenbosch University in 1979, achieving the award for the 'Best Student' in Prosthodontics. Following this, he completed a Post Graduate Dentistry degree as well as a Business Management Diploma attaining two Distinctions. He also has a Diploma in Implant Dentistry, again achieving a Distinction. He ran his own practice in South Africa for a number of years, before relocating with his family to the UK in 1998. He has extensive experience in general dentistry with a particular interest in smile makeovers. He performs a whole range of corrective, functional, and aesthetic treatments from tooth whitening to crowns, veneers, and bridgework. He is also able to perform a variety of surgical treatment including implants, apicoectomies, and surgical extractions. Dr. Van Aswegen always takes pride in his work, has an open-door policy, and always goes above and beyond to meet the patient's oral health needs. He is married with eight children and five grandchildren. In his spare time, he loves cycling, reading, and dancing.
