Dr Shahin Boghani is a specialist in Periodontics, and has a true passion for the health of the gums and bone in your mouth.
Her career began completing her undergraduate degree at King's
College London, before working in general dental practice. During this
time, Shahin was awarded the Ruby Austin shield for presenting the best
overall clinical case during her early training years. She also worked
as a Senior House Officer at King's College Hospital in a range of
dental specialities before committing to Periodontics (gum disease).
Shahin received her speciality degree (Mast of Clinical Dentistry in
Periodontics) from King's College London's Guy's Hospital, qualifying
with Distinction and gained a Membership in Periodontics at the Royal
College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Shahin's extensive knowledge and passion for the subject has resulted
in her being invited back to Guy's Hospital to teach both undergraduate
and postgraduate dentists in her field of speciality. This not only
helps Shahin to stay on trend with the latest technology in dentistry,
but also ensures she can provide the very best care for all her
patients.
Shahin has a gentle approach to dentistry. She believes that
excellent quality dentistry can be carried out in a pain free manner
that is comfortable for patients.
