Dr Phil Eisenberg

Phil Eisenberg – Dentist and Owner at Sparklysmile Dr. Phil Eisenberg joined Sparklysmile to work with his father, having qualified from Guy's Dental Hospital in 1988, and has worked here happily ever since. He has developed the cosmetic and preventative side of the practice, overseeing the introduction of hygienists and gum care, endodontists and the implant centre to the team. Dr. Eisenberg has been innovative wherever possible in his practice, and has introduced intra-oral cameras, air abrasion and the Wy10 whitening procedures to his practice together with the Smile Lift techniques which he learnt at the Rosenthal Institute in New York aided the teaching programme when it is was held in the UK. Dr. Eisenberg is additionally the most experienced member of the Facial Rejuvenation team. More recently, he has been to Florida to train at the Dawson Academy, well known for training dentists to provide long-lasting solutions to dental problems. The latest developments in the orthodontic world have also been embraced with the use of fast-acting removable braces such as the inman aligner and the cosmetically shaded fixed braces to ensure that when changes are considered we are as kind to the teeth as possible – moving them in to a better position before making them look good. Dr. Eisenberg is passionate about giving patients their best smiles in the most conservative ways, putting to practice his extensive skill and training. In 2016 he completed his advanced training with the IAS (Intelligent Alignment Systems) academy in orthodontics under the care of Professor Ross Hobson. Dr. Eisenberg has been an elected representative for local dentists on the Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark Local Dental Committee, the Metropolitan Branch of the British Dental Association and the London Council of the British Dental Association and helped set up the South Thames Branch of the Independent Practice Committee. In addition to his busy practice, he has also written for a selection of dental journals. Dr. Eisenberg believes a perfect smile is so much more than cosmetic, and that in fact the best smiles come from the confidence and comfort of having healthy teeth and gums that are as well-cared for as they can possibly be; making him passionate about preventative dentistry and good oral health from a young age. Dr. Eisenberg lives locally in Blackheath, having lived there for more than 50 years and worked as a dentist there for more than 30 years.
