Dr Nauman Ahmed has been working as consultant cardiologist at the Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation trust since 2015. He has completed his training in general cardiology with the acquisition of specialist skills in complex cardiac rhythm device implantation, cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging from Bristol Heart institute, Bristol. He has a particular interest in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging , heart failure management, coronary artery disease, cardiac rhythm disorders and pacing, including complex devices. He has a developing interest in inherited cardiac conditions and cardiac CT. He is a certified cardiac device specialist by heart Rhythm Society and has level 3 accreditation for cardiac magnetic resonance imaging by European society of cardiology.
