His expertise includes the management of patients diagnosed with various malignant haematological conditions, such as lymphomas, leukaemias, myelodysplasia, multiple myeloma, and myeloproliferative disorders. He is the Clinical Director of the Stem Cell Transplantation Programme. He is the Designated Individual (DI) responsible for supervising activity under the Human Tissue Act relevant to his practice. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Royal College of Pathologists and an active member of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
He is an active JACIE (Joint Accreditation Committee of ISCT and EBMT) Inspector, advocating and improving quality in haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
