In recent years, he has received an RCP/NIHR CRN Award for Outstanding Research Leadership in the NHS (2017) and an ECCO Travel Award.
He was BSG Young Gastroenterologist of the Year for Clinical and Translational Science in 2018 and was selected as an Advanced Fellow for the Cornerstones program at Digestive Disease Week for three years in a row.
