Dr. Manish Motwani is a Consultant Cardiologist at Central Manchester University Hospital NHS Trust. He undertook his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2001. Since then he has completed a PhD in his field also. As well as seeing all general cardiology complaints, Dr. Motwani particularly specialises in non-invasive cardiac imaging including cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, echocardiography & advanced nuclear techniques.
Having has trained in several world-class academic & clinical centres including the Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Medicine, UK and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, USA; he has had excellent mentorship throughout his early career, ensuring excellence in all aspects of his practice.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Motwani is active in research, having won several international, national and regional prizes. He is also widely published with over 50 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, as well as several book chapters. His PhD thesis studied advanced cardiac MRI techniques in coronary artery disease.
Dr. Motwani is known for his thorough and individualised approach to his patients. He ensures thorough assessments, state-of-the-art non-invasive testing, clear explanations, and shared decision making, making every patient journey as successful as possible.
